What Fresh Snap is

Fresh Snap helps you assess whether food appears fresh, questionable, or likely spoiled from a photo. It is a decision-support tool, not a laboratory test, medical device, or guarantee of food safety.

Data we process

• Account identifiers (anonymous installation ID; optional email if you link an account)
• Food images you submit for assessment
• Structured assessment results and feedback you submit
• App preferences (language, theme, consent flags)
• Optional analytics events only after you opt in (Mode A)
• Crash/diagnostic events via Sentry when monitoring is enabled (replays mask text and images)
• Purchase/entitlement metadata processed via app stores (we do not store full payment card numbers)

How long we keep images

Raw images are private and deleted by default within 24 hours after processing unless you explicitly save an image-backed history item. Structured history may be retained longer until you delete it or your account.

Your choices

• Use the app anonymously
• Opt in/out of analytics and ads personalization in Settings
• Delete individual scans
• Request data export
• Request account deletion (store subscriptions must be canceled in the store)

Sharing / processors

We do not sell personal data. Processors used to operate the service include Supabase, Google Gemini (server-side AI), Firebase Hosting, Google AdMob (after opt-in; none for Premium), Sentry, and Apple/Google billing. AI calls run server-side only.

Children

Fresh Snap is not directed at children under 13. Do not use the app if you are under 13.
